The greatest dilemma of the African world is the need of an agenda and a plan of action that is initiated, sustained and acheived by Africana peoples. Until we frame our own problems and solutions in the context of our own experience, we will forever be relegated to the role of begging for crumbs from the master's table. We must organize and develop institutions grounded in our own experiences thus building our own tables, baking our own bread and feeding our own children. Human equality and dignity--the heart of the quest for human rights--will never be realized until all citizens of the earth can rendezvous at the bargaining table recognized one another as equals in aptitude, ability and admiration.
